For more than 25 years, Cardiovascular Institute, P.A. has been the premier destination for heart and vascular care in Tomball, Texas, and throughout Northwest Houston. Founded in 1999, our practice has built a strong reputation by providing comprehensive, compassionate, and individualized attention to every patient.

Meet Dr. Daljit Muttiana, MD, FACC, FSCAI

Dr. Muttiana graduated from Glancy Medical College Amritsar, India. In USA he did his internship and residency in internal medicine at Oklahoma University, Oklahoma City. After that he finished his fellowship in general and interventional cardiology at Texas Tech Lubbock, USA. He obtained special training in peripheral artery disease and intervention of PAD. He has participated in clinical and basic research in cardiology.

Our practice is led by Dr. Daljit Muttiana, a highly experienced cardiovascular specialist. Dr. Muttiana is triple board-certified in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and nuclear cardiology. He provides complete cardiac and vascular care for adults of all ages, ensuring patients receive expert treatment close to home.

Office Hours

CVI office is open from Monday to Friday. We are at our Tomball clinic from 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM except every Friday 8-12 AM. We are available to take calls directly during this time.

Monday to Friday: 8.00 AM to 5.00 PM
Friday 8.00 AM to 12.00 PM

Telephones Calls

We request that you call (281) 357-5700 during regular office hours for regular appointments and routine business during normal business hours. A physician is always on call when our office is closed. After 5.00 PM, your call will be answered by the answering service personnel for CVI.

If this is an emergency call 911 for immediate help and notify the service to inform the doctor on call.

As a new patient, you have a lot of background to share with a new physician. Keep a copy for your records so that it is available when you need to visit other doctors. This helps ensure accurate medical history sharing and better continuity of care during future medical visits.

Please bring your Insurance Card, Co-Payment (due at time of appointment), Referral Forms (if applicable), and Previous Health Records to your appointment. This information helps ensure a smooth check-in process and accurate medical documentation.

On the day of the visit

If you are a member of a managed care patient, you may have to get the referral form or number from your primary care physician, or we must have received it in advance. Most managed care plans also require that a copayment be paid at the time of the visit to complete your appointment process.
